The painting – Poetry challenge: Nonet

I Look into the acrylic world
A universe full of colour
A painted promenade stroll
leads me to wondrous things

Take me to that place
I want to go
where the stream
ebbs and
flows

This poem was written in response to Poet’s corner poetry challenge of the week:  to write a nonet.  I have never written one before.  And, as always the poem is also published on Poet’s Corner!  Enjoy 🙂

  1. I’ve never heard of a nonet before! It’s a silly name, and reminds me of the first time I saw a signpost for a place near me called Nonsuch Park.

    Nice poem, by the way.

    • Me neither 🙂 And thanks 😉

  2. Thanks for the plug and a nice poem as well.

    • You’re welcome and thank you x
