Snow

Seeing as it’s really cold at the moment and my brain freeze is having brain freeze, I decided to post some snow pictures.  I actually love the snow.  there is something about the freshness of everything whitewashed.  Even better is how quite it gets.  You can actually hear the sounds of the natural world, making a change from the usual noisy groups of people, clicking heels, rolling plastic wheels on crunchy sidewalks, rows and rows of rumbling cars and their smelly fumes (okay that’s more like at rush hour but still…) and all other manner of daily human noise.  I like the peace and quiet and have really been enjoying it over the last two days!

Snow

soft
squishy
oh so mushy

blue
fingers
red
nose
oh so cold

children
laughing
babies
gurgling
oh so much fun

nature
a-plenty
roads
so empty
oh so peaceful

I know exactly what you mean about the quiet. Its almost eerie this morning along our road, which is a quiet one anyway but today…

    Christine

    • I love it 🙂

  3. I can only imagine what it would be like to live somewhere that it snows.

    • how is the heat your side?

      • A bit cooler at the moment, but we’ve been in a heatwave most of the time since Xmas.

        • hope it gets better soon. May I ask which area you are in Australia? My Aunt is in Brisbane so I get all her updates from that side 🙂

          • I’m on the west coast, but I’m flying to Queensland (Gold Coast just south of Brisbane) for a holiday tomorrow … woohoo!

            • Have fun x

  4. It may be cold, but it is incredibly beautiful. Enjoy it–if you can. 🙂
